The University of Tehran Main Entrance, completed in 1965, is a monumental gate designed by Kourosh Farzami that exemplifies Pahlavi-era architecture. Located in District 6, the structure rises 7.5 meters and was constructed of reinforced concrete, a material well-suited to the bold, modernist aesthetic of mid-twentieth-century Iranian institutional design. Designated as part of Iran's National Heritage, the entrance gate marks both a physical threshold to the university and a significant example of architectural ambitions during the Pahlavi period.
