Located in Batasan Hills, Quezon City, the Batasang Pambansa Complex is the seat of the House of Representatives of the Philippines. Built in 1978, this brutalist structure was originally designed to house the Batasang Pambansa, an interim legislature established that year and formalized in 1984 under the 1973 Constitution as a replacement for the bicameral Congress. When the bicameral legislature was restored in 1987, the complex was repurposed as the home of the lower house, with the Senate meeting separately at the GSIS Building in Pasay. The main building continues to bear the Batasang Pambansa name.
