The Philippine International Convention Center, completed in 1976 and designed by acclaimed architect Leandro Locsin, stands within the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex in Pasay as a striking example of Brutalist architecture. Since its opening, the facility has hosted numerous conventions, meetings, fairs, and social events for both local and international participants. Beyond its primary function, the building has served various governmental purposes, including housing the main office of the National Privacy Commission and an office of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and formerly accommodating the vice president's office from 1992 to 2005.
