A two-story red brick hotel building in the Second Empire style stands at 125 East Main Street in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Designed by Edward M. Hackett and constructed in 1886 for $10,000 by the Reedsburg Building & Lumber Co., the structure features stone trim, a mansard roof, arched window frames, ornamental brick detailing on its facade, and a small porch with decorative metal balustrade on the second floor. Originally built as Roper's City Hotel, it later served as the Reedsburg Hotel and Touchdown Tavern before housing Beastro & Barley, a restaurant and bar known for its bison-based "Reedsburger" and its Agnes Moorehead Lounge, displaying memorabilia from the actress's stage, radio, television, and film career. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, the building is recognized as a significant example of late nineteenth-century commercial architecture in Wisconsin.
