Bloomfield Public Library, located in Bloomfield, Iowa, is a brick, side-gable structure completed in 1913 with funding from the Carnegie Corporation of New York. Designed by Frank E. Wetherell of the Des Moines firm Wetherell and Gage, the building blends Tudor Revival and Neoclassical architectural elements, featuring characteristic half-timbered gable ends and Tudor Revival vergeboards on its entrance and side elevations. The library grew from a subscription-based library association established in the 1870s; after the Commercial Club received a $10,000 Carnegie grant in November 1911, local voters approved construction the following December, and the library was dedicated in August 1913. The building was recognized on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015 and continues to serve the community with collections spanning large and regular print books, media, and digital resources, alongside a children's area and public computers.
