Bokeyama Kofun is a zenpō-kōen-fun (a keyhole-shaped burial mound) located in Fujiidera, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, dating to around 600 CE. As an imperial mausoleum, it represents the monumental funerary architecture characteristic of Japan's kofun period, when such earthen tumuli served as the final resting places of the elite and ruling classes. The distinctive zenpō-kōen-fun form—combining a rectangular front section with a circular rear mound—reflects the architectural conventions that defined this era of Japanese burial practices.
