Buffalo Central Terminal is a 17-story Art Deco landmark in Buffalo, New York, designed by the architectural firm Fellheimer & Wagner and completed in 1929 as a union station for the New York Central Railroad. Located in the Broadway-Fillmore district, the building exemplifies Art Deco design through its setback massing and Indigenous American decorative motifs, stylistic features it shares with Buffalo City Hall (1931), with which it ranks among the city's two most significant Art Deco structures. The station served as an active transportation hub from its opening until 1979, after which it remained closed despite multiple redevelopment proposals. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and, as of February 2024, became the focus of a newly formed development team seeking to plan its future adaptive reuse.
