The Butler School was a Queen Anne-style school building constructed in 1882 at 812 Gorham Street in Lowell, Massachusetts. Named after Benjamin F. Butler, a prominent Lowell resident, Massachusetts Governor, and Civil War general, it served the Lowell Public Schools for over a century. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995, the building stood vacant from 1994 onward, gradually deteriorating. Following the construction of a new Butler School facility further up Gorham Street in 1992, the original building was demolished in 2013, making way for new commercial structures on the site.
