The Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club, located at 3925 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, is a historic hotel originally designed by architect Roy France and completed in 1940. Its Art Deco and mid-century modern styling reflects the architectural character of Miami Beach's golden age. The structure is built of concrete block with a stucco finish over a wood piling and concrete slab foundation. A significant 1956 addition was designed by Melvin Grossman. The hotel served its primary purpose throughout its history, with the notable exception of three years during World War II (1942–1945), when it was leased by the United States military. Today it is recognized as a contributing property in the National Register of Historic Places, added in 2005, and forms part of the Collins Waterfront Architectural District. After closing in September 2017 for major renovations, the property reopened in August 2018 as an Autograph Collection by Marriott hotel, featuring 357 guest rooms, two pools, meeting spaces, dining, and bar facilities.
