The Kannur Lighthouse, built in 1903, stands near Payyambalam Beach a few kilometers from Kannur town in Kerala's coastal region. Still active today, the structure overlooks the Arabian Sea and sits adjacent to the Sea View Park and Government Guest House. The lighthouse bears the historical English name Cannanore, a designation still sometimes used for the structure.
