The Castle of Warmian Cathedral Chapter in Olsztyn is a Brick Gothic structure built in 1353 in northern Poland, erected to serve as the administrative seat for property holders of the Warmian Cathedral Chapter. The castle's most celebrated resident was Nicolaus Copernicus, the astronomer and canon of Warmian Cathedral Chapter, who lived here between 1516 and 1521. Among its architectural highlights is the refectory, a large expository room featuring a diamond vault constructed around 1520. Today the castle functions as the Museum of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and remains an immovable monument of Poland.
