Centennial Hall in Wrocław, Poland, is a pioneering reinforced concrete structure completed between 1911 and 1913 according to the designs of architect Max Berg. Originally called People's Hall (Hala Ludowa), it was conceived as a multifunctional venue to host exhibitions, concerts, theatrical and opera performances, and sporting events. The building remains in active use today for sports, business summits, and concerts. An early landmark of reinforced concrete architecture, Centennial Hall was designated a Polish national Historic Monument on 20 April 2005 and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2006.
