Center School, located at 1730 South 11th Street in South Omaha, Nebraska, is a Richardsonian Romanesque structure completed in 1893 and designed by prolific local architect John Latenser, Sr., one of thirty-five schools he designed for Omaha. The building represents one of only a few major examples of the Richardsonian Romanesque style that remain in the city. Originally constructed as a school, the structure was declared an Omaha Landmark in 1985 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places that same year. It was rehabilitated into apartments in 1987, now operating as the Lincoln School Apartments.
