The City Hall of Old Colorado City in Colorado Springs exemplifies the Richardsonian Romanesque style that defined American civic architecture in the late nineteenth century. Built in 1888, this sturdy stone structure served its original municipal purpose before being repurposed as commercial space, most notably as Hibbits Antique & Furniture Store. Today the building remains a recognized landmark, listed on both the National Register of Historic Places and the Colorado State Register of Historic Properties, testament to its enduring architectural and historical significance in the Old Colorado City neighborhood.
