Clapham South is a London Underground station on the Morden branch of the Northern line, located at the corner of Balham Hill and Nightingale Lane in the London Borough of Wandsworth. Designed by Charles Holden in the Art Deco style, the station exemplifies the modern architectural approach that characterized London's mid-twentieth-century tube expansion. Positioned between Clapham Common and Balham stations and straddling fare zones 2 and 3, it stands at the southern edge of Clapham Common and is now recognized as a Grade II listed building.
