The Collegiate Basilica of the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Wiślica is a Gothic church erected in 1350 in southern Poland during the reign of King Casimir III. Built atop the foundations of two earlier Romanesque churches—vestiges of which survive in the crypt—the structure represents a layering of centuries of religious architecture. Designated a Minor Basilica since 2005, the church stands as an immovable monument in Poland.
