The Cologne Tower is a 44-storey office skyscraper designed by Jean Nouvel and completed in 2001 in the Köln-Neustadt-Nord district of Cologne, Germany. Rising 148.5 metres (487 feet)—or 165.48 metres including its antenna—the modern structure ranks as the second-tallest building in the city after Cologne Cathedral and the second-tallest in North Rhine-Westphalia after the Post Tower in Bonn. Its location adjacent to MediaPark has attracted numerous media sector companies as tenants. Construction took from June 1999 to November 2001. An observation deck and restaurant on the 30th floor opened to the public in June 2006.
