The Conant Public Library, Winchester's public library in New Hampshire, occupies a distinguished Victorian Romanesque Revival building erected in 1891 at 111 Main Street. Funded by a bequest from local resident Ezra Conant, the structure was designed by Springfield, Massachusetts architect J. M. Currier, who based its design on his earlier 1886 library building in Brattleboro, Vermont. The building is recognized as one of the most architecturally distinguished structures in Cheshire County and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
