The Newton Centre Branch Library, located at 1294 Centre Street in Newton, Massachusetts, is a 1+1⁄2-story brick building designed by Newton resident James Ritchie of the firm Ritchie, Parsons & Taylor and completed in 1928. Built as one of five branch libraries funded through citizen subscription between 1926 and 1939, the structure exemplifies Tudor Revival styling, tempered by a Colonial Revival segmented arch surround at its entry. The building ceased its library function when a new library facility opened near city hall in 1991, and now serves as a municipal office building. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
