The Death Canyon Barn, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1935, is a combination barn and ranger patrol cabin located in Grand Teton National Park where the Death Canyon Trail meets the Alaska Basin Trail. Constructed in the National Park Service rustic style, it overlooks Prospector Mountain and shares architectural kinship with the Cascade Canyon Barn elsewhere in the park, though variations in its design reflect both the local materials at hand and the particular preferences of its builders. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it stands as a testament to the CCC's role in developing park infrastructure during the Depression era.
