The Donauturm is a 252-meter-tall observation tower and transmitter mast completed in Vienna in 1964, designed by architects Robert Krapfenbauer and Hannes Lintl. As Austria's tallest free-standing structure at its opening in April 1964, the tower combines functional broadcasting infrastructure with public amenities, notably featuring a revolving restaurant. The structure is a listed heritage object in Austria and remains a defining landmark of Vienna's skyline.
