Dr. Henry Pollen's House is a Category 1 historic building in Wellington, New Zealand, designed by William Turnbull and completed in 1902 as both a residence and surgery for its namesake physician. Executed in Second Empire style, the structure is built of native timbers—totara, matai, and rimu—and features a distinctive corrugated iron mansard roof. Originally sited at 12 Boulcott Street, the building was relocated by crane to the corner of Boulcott Street and Willis Street in 1988, rotated approximately 90 degrees to suit its new position, to allow construction of the Majestic Centre. During restoration, its historical character was largely preserved, though original brick chimneys were replaced with lightweight replicas. Since Dr. Pollen's death in 1918, the building has served diverse functions—from private residence to bookshop, wine bar, restaurant, and massage parlour—and currently houses a bar.
