The East Martinsburg Historic District in Martinsburg, West Virginia reflects the city's rapid expansion during the 1850s, driven by the arrival of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and an influx of German and Irish settlers. Spanning multiple neighborhoods—including Buena Vista, Chevally City, St. Vincent, and several named additions—the district showcases layers of architectural development. Its oldest sections contain concentrations of pre–Civil War buildings in the Greek Revival style, while later additions feature Gothic Revival, Queen Anne, and Classical Revival structures. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
