The Edward D. Libbey House, a Shingle style residence at 2008 Scottwood Avenue in Toledo, Ohio, was designed by architect David L. Stine and completed in 1895. Built for Edward Libbey (1854–1925), a businessman who transformed American glass manufacturing, the house reflects the refined domestic architecture of the Gilded Age. Libbey and his wife, Florence Scott, established the Toledo Museum of Art in 1901, cementing their cultural legacy in the city. Recognized for its historical significance, the property received designation as a National Historic Landmark in 1983. Now a house museum, it was purchased by The Libbey House Foundation in 2008 to undertake restoration to its original condition.
