The Egyptian Hall stood on Piccadilly in London's City of Westminster, a striking exhibition space built in 1812 to designs by Peter Frederick Robinson. Conceived in the Egyptian Revival style, it became a considerable success, hosting exhibitions of artwork and Napoleonic relics. Over time, the hall evolved into a venue for popular entertainments and lectures, eventually earning the epithet "England's Home of Mystery" for its strong associations with magic and spiritualism. The building was demolished in 1905 to make way for modern commercial development.
