The Pantheon was a Georgian entertainment venue designed by James Wyatt and erected on Oxford Street in London in 1772. Its principal feature was a vast rotunda capped by a dome inspired by the ancient Roman Pantheon—among the largest interior spaces constructed in England at the time. Originally conceived as winter assembly rooms, it was later adapted as a theatre before serving as a bazaar and wine merchant's showroom for more than a century. The building was demolished in 1937, and its location is now occupied by a Marks and Spencer store.
