Located in Yonkers, Westchester County, this historic property comprises an 1855 Italianate brick residence and a later monastic complex. The original house, a two-story, five-bay structure built by industrialist Ethan Flagg, features a prominent square cupola and wooden porch on brick piers, set on a rock-faced ashlar base. The Sacramentine order of nuns acquired the property in 1915 and added a four-story brick monastery building in 1922, which includes a rear wing with conservatory and an octagonal cupola. A 1954 addition connected the two buildings. After the academy closed in 1975 and the nuns relocated in 1991, the property was repurposed as a medical and social service center. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, the complex documents both residential and institutional architectural evolution across more than a century.
