The Evert House stands at 2687 Logan Street in Highland Park, Illinois, a Second Empire residence built in 1872 by the Highland Park Building Company for Reverend W. W. Evert. The style is notably uncommon in the city, distinguished by its mansard roof with two dormers and bracketed eaves. As one of many early homes the company constructed from pattern books for discerning buyers, the Evert House represents an important chapter in Highland Park's residential development. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
