Built in 1926, the Samuel Holmes House at 2693 Sheridan Road in Highland Park, Illinois is a Shingle style residence designed by architect Robert Seyfarth. The house exemplifies the style through its asymmetrical form, gable roof with inset dormers, and cedar shake exterior, making it a rare example of Shingle style architecture within the city. The grounds were designed by noted landscape architect Jens Jensen. One of several Seyfarth-designed buildings in Highland Park, the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 29, 1982.
