The Cathedral Church of Saint Peter in Exeter is an Anglican cathedral in Devon, South West England, and the seat of the Bishop of Exeter. Built beginning in 1275 in the Gothic and Norman styles, the structure was substantially complete by about 1400. The cathedral is distinguished by several remarkable features: an early set of misericords, an astronomical clock, and notably, the longest uninterrupted medieval stone vaulted ceiling in the world. It is designated as a Grade I listed building.
