Housed in a Pahlavi-style concrete structure completed in 1934, the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Tehran stands as one of Iran's oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher education. Originally established in 1899 as the College of Political Science by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the faculty evolved into the country's leading law school, shaping generations of prominent lawyers, judges, diplomats, and civil servants. Its alumni have wielded considerable influence over Iran's modern legal, political, and foreign policy landscape, with many members of the nation's political elite counted among its graduates. Located in Tehran's District 6, the building remains a designated Iranian National Heritage site.
