The Fairfield County Courthouse in Winnsboro, South Carolina, is a Greek Revival structure designed by architect Robert Mills and completed in 1823. Mills's refined classical approach to the building's design reflects the period's embrace of Neoclassical ideals, evident in its proportions and ornamental details characteristic of the Greek Revival style. The courthouse remains a contributing property on the National Register of Historic Places, preserving an important example of early nineteenth-century civic architecture in the South Carolina Piedmont.
