The First Church in Belmont Unitarian Universalist in Belmont, Massachusetts, was completed in 1890 as a striking example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. Designed by the architectural firm Hartwell and Richardson, the church exemplifies the robust, stone-faced style characteristic of the Romanesque Revival movement, featuring the heavy rounded arches and textured masonry that define the Richardsonian approach to ecclesiastical design.
