The former casino of Hendaye, located in this Basque coastal town in southwestern France, was built in 1884 by architect Alphonse Bertrand. Designed in the Moorish Revival style, the multi-story building originally functioned as both a casino and bathing establishment, reflecting the leisured aspirations of Belle Époque resort culture. The structure housed the casino until 1980, after which it transitioned to other uses.
