Fountain Inn High School is a Moderne-style school building in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, designed by the Greenville-based architectural firm Beacham and LeGrand and completed in 1939 as a Public Works Administration project during the New Deal era. The T-shaped, two-story brick structure on a concrete basement originally housed an 800-seat auditorium distinguished by art deco patterned ceiling panels and wood-paneled walls with hardwood flooring. Built to serve the town's secondary students, the building functioned as a high school for only seventeen years before Hillcrest High School's opening in 1957 prompted its conversion to an elementary school. After a new elementary facility opened in 1997, the city acquired the building in 1999, subsequently repurposing it as a cultural venue. Operating as the Fountain Inn Center for Visual and Performing Arts and later renamed the Younts Center for Performing Arts in 2013, it underwent renovation to its theater, lobby, and exterior. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
