Fountainhead, located at 306 Glenway Drive in Jackson, Mississippi, is a Usonian-style residence designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for oil businessman J. Willis Hughes and built between 1950 and 1954. The house's distinctive Y-shaped plan arranges three wings—a living room facing northeast, a carport facing southeast, and a bedroom wing facing west—around a geometric grid of 30-60-90 triangles that generate a rhombus pattern. Constructed from tidewater red cypress, copper, glass, and concrete, the home centers on a fountain near the bedroom wing, from which Hughes drew its name. One of Wright's few realized designs in Mississippi, the house deteriorated after Hughes's wife's death in 1964 but was restored by architect Robert Parker Adams beginning in 1979. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
