Fukuoka Tower is a 234-metre observation and television tower completed in 1989 in the Momochihama area of Fukuoka, Japan, designed by Nikken Sekkei. Built on reclaimed land from Hakata Bay over fourteen months at a cost of ¥6 billion, it stands as Japan's tallest seaside tower. Its principal observation deck at 123 metres offers a complete 360-degree panorama of the surrounding landscape and draws particularly large crowds at sunset.
