The George S. Abbott Building, a historic mixed-use structure at 245–247 North Main Street in Waterbury, Connecticut, was completed in 1899 and exemplifies an uncommon architectural approach to constrained urban sites. Built entirely of masonry and designed to occupy a triangular lot, the building blends Romanesque Revival and Neoclassical elements. Also known as the Wheeler and Wilson Building and Abbott Towers Apartments, it was recognized for its architectural and historical significance when listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
