The Webster School stands at the corner of Easton Avenue and Aetna Street in Waterbury, Connecticut, a neoclassical structure designed by prominent local architect Wilfred E. Griggs and completed in 1898. Built during the city's period of rapid expansion at the turn of the twentieth century, it exemplifies Classical Revival architecture of the era. The school operated for nearly eighty years before closing in 1977, and was recognized for its historic significance when listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The building has since been repurposed as residential housing.
