Located in Abiquiú, New Mexico, the Georgia O'Keeffe Home and Studio is a Mission Revival structure completed in 1949 that served as the principal residence and artistic workspace of painter Georgia O'Keeffe from 1943 until her death in 1986. Designed collaboratively by O'Keeffe and Maria Chabot, the house reflects the architectural vernacular of the region while providing the intimate creative environment essential to O'Keeffe's prolific practice. Now operated as a house museum within the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum network, the property was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1998, recognized as one of the most significant artistic sites in the American Southwest.
