The Gewandhaus in Leipzig is a concert hall completed in 1976 and designed by Rudolf Skoda in the brutalist style. It serves as the home of the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra and is the third structure to bear this historic name. Like its predecessor, the hall is renowned for its exceptional acoustics. Designated a Kulturdenkmal (cultural monument), the building represents a significant example of postwar concert hall architecture in Germany.
