Berwald Hall, a concert hall in Stockholm's Östermalm district, is a striking example of brutalist architecture completed in 1979. Designed by Erik Ahnborg and Sune Lindström, the hexagonal building rises in a park landscape on Dag Hammarskjölds väg. Its 1,302 seats—including 482 in the stalls—accommodate diverse concert programming. The structure earned recognition from Europa Nostra, which praised it as an "admirably sensitive designed concert hall," acknowledging how its bold modernist form balances functional purpose with aesthetic restraint.
