Grieg Hall is a 1,500-seat concert hall completed in 1978 on Edvard Griegs plass in Bergen, Norway, designed by Danish architect Knud Munk in brutalist style. Named after the Bergen-born composer Edvard Grieg, who directed the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra from 1880 to 1882, the hall serves as the permanent home of that same orchestra. Construction spanned from 1967 to May 1978, realizing Munk's modernist vision in concrete forms characteristic of the brutalist movement.
