The Konzerthaus is a concert hall located in Vienna's third district, designed by the architectural firm Fellner & Helmer in cooperation with Ludwig Baumann and completed in 1913. Built in the Art Nouveau style, it emerged from plans conceived in 1890 for a Haus für Musikfeste intended to appeal to a broader public than the established Musikverein. The building's evolution reflected ambitious early visions that included ice-skating and cycling facilities alongside the concert space, though the final structure focused on its primary musical mission. Since its opening, the Konzerthaus has maintained a commitment to presenting both traditional and contemporary musical styles. It remains a listed heritage site in Austria, situated at the boundary between Vienna's first and third districts.
