The Gleasondale Methodist Episcopal Church, built in 1898 in Stow, is a Queen Anne and Shingle style structure designed by architect George G. Adams. The building exemplifies the decorative sensibilities of its era through the distinctive architectural languages of both styles—the Queen Anne tradition's ornamental detailing combined with the rustic charm of shingle cladding characteristic of late nineteenth-century American ecclesiastical architecture.
