On Beach Road in Kallang, Singapore, the Golden Mile Complex stands as a imposing brutalist structure completed in 1973 by DP Architects. This high-rise commercial and residential building, originally named Woh Hup Complex, once housed 411 shops and 500 parking spaces within its concrete mass, positioned within walking distance of Nicoll Highway MRT station. The complex served as a significant ethnic enclave for Singapore's Thai community. The building underwent collective sale and was subsequently rebranded as the Golden Mile.
