Goshavank, a 12th–13th-century Armenian monastery in the Tavush Province village of Gosh, was founded by Mkhitar Gosh in 1201 and originally called Nor Getik. Built in the Armenian architectural tradition, the monastery has survived in relatively good condition and is notable for housing one of the world's finest examples of a khachkar—the ornately carved stone cross characteristic of Armenian religious art. The site remains an important cultural heritage monument in Armenia.
