The Guadalupe County Courthouse in Santa Rosa, New Mexico, is a two-story Richardsonian Romanesque building erected in 1909 from red sandstone. Its design features a hipped roof with pedimented and capped false parapet walls at varying heights; carved sandstone eagles and urns once adorned the four corners, though only one eagle survives. The southwest facade, larger and more ornamental than the others, displays engaged stone pilasters, circular decorative inlays, and a cast panel reading "COURTHOUSE." The front elevation comprises a central mass with two flanking bays, while the second story showcases fluted engaged pilasters with eagle-motif capitals and a central enlarged window with dark stone quoins and arched transom. The courtroom occupied the second floor. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987 and on the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties, the building was in deteriorated condition at the time of its nomination. It later served as a senior citizen center and subsequently as the Guadalupe County Youth Drop-in-Center.
