The Tomb of Hassan Modarres, located in Kashmar, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran, is a Pahlavi-era mausoleum erected in 1943 to commemorate the prominent Twelver Shi'ite cleric Sayyid Hassan Modarres, who was assassinated in 1937. Built of brick and mortar, the shrine was constructed following the forced abdication of Reza Shah Pahlavi and houses the remains of Modarres, a former cabinet representative of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
