Hellbrunn Palace is an early Baroque villa of palatial proportions designed by architect Santino Solari and built between 1613 and 1619 in Hellbrunn, the southern countryside district of Salzburg, Austria. Commissioned by Markus Sittikus von Hohenems, Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg, the palace takes its name from the clear spring that supplied it with water. Conceived as a summer day residence rather than a permanent dwelling, Hellbrunn notably lacks bedrooms, as the Archbishop would typically return to the city each evening. The building remains listed among Austria's heritage objects.
